Following IOI's appearance on "The Show" aired on Tuesday, many viewers noticed some dark bruises on Jung Chae Yeon's legs, which netizens claimed to be traces of liposuction shots.

According to Allkpop, many netizens are speculating Jung got herself liposuction shots to make her legs look thinner, resulting to dark bruises. Further reports revealed Jung's bruises are the same as f(x) member Krystal's after she allegedly underwent liposuction.

Previously, netizens were attacking Jung for her "thick legs." While others thought this could be the reason the IOI member has decided to get herself liposuction shots. "Why does she have so many tiny bruises? It must be the [liposuction] shots for sure," a netizen wrote.

While many netizens are vicious about Jung's bruised legs, some of her fans came to rescue their idol, defending the IOI member from all the hate comments.

"What's the problem with her figure? I think her thighs look realistically sexy. They should embrace the body differences between the idols more instead of wanting everyone to have the same body type," a fan wrote.

Just recently, Jung has spoken up about losing 16 kilograms in just three months, Koreaboo reported. From weighing 64 kilograms, the IOI member managed to cut down the figures to 48 through diet.

The idol said her diet includes solely of soft tofu or soy milk matched with intensive dance rehearsals and hectic schedule.

Jung is known to be associated with IOI and DIA. She originally debuted with DIA under MBK Entertainment last year. In the same year, the girl group released their first album titled "Do It Amazing," and officially made their first public appearance.

By the end of 2015, Jung decided to withdrew from DIA to join "Produce 101," where she finished at seventh place, making her a member of IOI. Jung and her new group debuted in May, however, MBK Entertainment announced Jung will join DIA in their comeback in June.

Following the announcement, YMC Entertainment revealed Jung will not join the promotions of IOI.
