EP Julie Plec is giving us more reasons to be excited for "The Originals" Season 4. Previously, the showrunner dropped an inkling about the possible fate of Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), who might follow the footsteps of his sibling Rebekah (Claire Holt), who got away from the Mikaelsons.

According to Plec, Kol will bond with his sister Rebekah in "The Originals" Season 4, which will made him realize of what it is like to live away from their family, Entertainment Weekly noted.

"Rebekah, like her siblings, has gotten caught up into the unified family takedown and spent five years in an alternative reality and is now back once again with the same choice she always has: What is my life supposed to be outside this crazy family," Plec narrated.

The showrunner then revealed that Kol found himself pondering the same question. "The two of them are going to bond in a way that we haven't gotten to see so much about what their future is in this family and how much of this crazy they're expected to live through," she added.

On the other hand, showrunner Michael Narducci also said they plan to continue seeing the Mikaelson siblings intact to pick up where they left off during the episode 16 of "The Originals" Season 3. "I think we will continue to see that as we explore what's going on with the Mikaelsons," he added.

According to TV Guide, there is going to be a reunion of the Mikaelson siblings in "The Originals" Season 4. Looking back at the season finale, Hayley was seen leaving New Orleans alongside her daughter Hope and four caskets containing the Mikaelson siblings.

The last standing hope of the Mikaelsons is on her quest to find cure for her family to awaken them. "Hayley, with her daughter, is the guardian of these sleeping vampires and on the run. What you can definitely assume is that after a time cut, these sleeping giants are going to awaken and they are not going to be happy," Narducci said.
