'Squad 38' actor Seo In Guk is making a drama comeback. The 28-year old actor will star in MBC's romantic comedy drama "Shopping King Louie."

On Sept. 19, during a press conference, the actor answered several questions about the drama and said "It's definitely possible that you have seen a similar set-up or story [in another drama]. However, within the set-up there are really unique situations that you can't imagine. It's really exciting," Soompi quoted.

The actor also addresses the burden of ratings, stressing that when ratings do not turn out well, he talks to the staff about working harder and relying with each other rather than worrying too much about the rating. Adding that he will work hard to express the character's color and the genre of the drama to the viewers, which is both important.

Director Lee Sang Yeop also explained the casting during the conference. The director revealed "Louie is a flower boy in a greenhouse, and he also is like a puppy. When I met Seo, I thought he was cute like a cute dog, but when filming with him, he also has a manly side and was cool," AllKpop reported.

As for the character Go Bok Shil, director Lee pondered over various actresses who were candidates and would qualify as an innocent woman who resembles nature. Director Lee ended up with Nam Ji Hyun, stressing that Nam's clear gaze matched the production crew's image of her character.

"Shopping King Louie" is a South Korean romantic comedy drama starring Seo, Nam, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Im Se-mi. The drama tells about a shopping king named Louie (Seo) with no memory of his past, raised by her grandmother in France after losing her parents. Later on, Louie falls in love with an optimistic girl.

The drama will air its first episode on Sept. 21 at 10:00 p.m on MBC, replacing the time slot of Lee Jong Suk's "W - Two Worlds."
