"Flaked" star Kirstie Alley joins the cast of Fox's comedy-horror series "Scream Queens" Season 2 as series regular. She is making her return to broadcast television.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alley will play a brilliant and devious administrator at the hospital in "Scream Queens" Season 2. She joins fellow new regulars John Stamos as Dr. Brock Holt, Taylor Lautner as Dr. Cassidy Cascade, and James Earl as Chamberlain Jackson.

"Scream Queens" Season 1 stars Jamie Lee Curtis (Cathy Munsch), Emma Roberts (Chanel Oberlin), Lea Michele (Hester Ulrich), Abigail Breslin (Chanel #5), Keke Palmer (Zayday Williams), Billie Lourd (Chanel #3), Glen Powell (Chad Radwell), and Niecy Nash (Denise Hemphill) all are poised to reprise their roles for Season 2.

In the "Scream Queens" Season 2 plot, a far cry from the original sorority setting takes place at a hospital, as TV Line reported. One cry is curiously owned by a former college dean Munsch. The series move from a college campus to a hospital called the C.U.R.E. Institute. Some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation. The pair of handsome doctors has questionable ethics.

In addition to "Scream Queens" Season 2, Alley is best known for her first Emmy-winning role on "Cheers" back in 1991. She went on to star in the NBC sitcom "Veronica's Closet" (1997-2000), Showtime's short-lived "Fat Actress" in 2005, and TV Land's shorter-lived "Kirstie" (2013-2014). She most recently guest-starred on ABC's comedy "The Middle" and Will Arnett's Netflix comedy "Flaked." She also competed in "Dancing With the Stars" Seasons 12 and 15. She is repped by APA, Untitled, and Meyer Felsen.

"Scream Queens" Season 2 is set to return on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
