'American Horror Story' Season 6 comes back with more terrifying story in "My Roanoke Nightmare"

Anthology horror series "American Horror Story" made a comeback on FX on Sept. 14. The season premiere promises more terrifying stories for audience. Writer-producder Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk provide more scary story, which ias said that based on true events in "My Roanoke Nightmare."

The story is promised to be terrifying that according to Us Weekly, the audience and its die-hard fans will need a new pair of pants before the season premiere is overs. The "American Horror Story" Season 6 premiere on Sept. 14 with a working title "My Roanoke Nightmare."

"My Roanoke Nightmare" revolves around the mystery surrounding Roanoke colony that suddenly disappeared in 1590. The colony was established by Queen Elizabeth I in the area which is now known as North Carolina to become a permanent British settlement. The colony suddenly disappeared after the end of the war between British and Spain in August 1590, five years after its establishment.

"American Horror Story" Season 6 tells the story of two young married couple Matt and Shelby, played by Andre Holland and Lily Rabe. They left LA after Matt was beaten in an attack by gang members who initiated their new member. The attack caused Shelby to a miscarriage.

Matt and Shelby moved to North Carolina, and found a nice 18th century farmhouse. They bought the house but soon after they realize that there is something wrong with the house. As they encountered a strange and scary phenomenon in the house and its neighborhood.

The story also provides a new approach with a double cast, consist of present day and the flashback Matt and Shelby, Entertainment Weekly reported. The present day Matt and Shelby tells their horror story, while the flashback Matt and Shelby re-enact the story.

Holland plays the present day Matt, while Gooding, Jr. takes on the role of Matt in the flashback. Rabe plays the the 'real' Shelby with Paulson as her counterpart in the reenacted timeline.

"American Horror" Story Season 6 will continue next Wednesday on FX at 10 p.m. ET.
