Herrera said that there will be a lot of things going on between his character Lito, Hernando and Daniela. He went to say that the series is popular because of its emotional honesty that transcends cultures.

In an interview, his co-star Erendira Ibarra who plays Daniela shared the same sentiments.

"I think next season is about life and beauty. I think people are going to really enjoy it in a whole different way. It's going to open up perspectives and that's what's beautiful about Sense8, and that's why I'm very happy to be part of the show and excited to work with such amazing people, she told latino online magazine Ramezcla.

The rest of the cast had always been tight-lipped about possible spoilers but actor Max Riemelt who plays Wolfgang let it slip that there will be "new power games" in the show. This "power games" will push his character to move in Berlin and will inevitably affect the ongoing love triangle between Wolfgang, Kala (Tina Desai) and Rajan (Purab Kohli), Buzzfeed reported.

Desai has since admitted that the love triangle will continue on Season 2 and said that her character will play a bigger role for sensates in the upcoming season. Series creator Michael Straczynski said that the series aims to bring the sensates together to make people realize that unity is better than division.
