Breakup rumors involving engaged couple Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs continue to circulate all over the web as the two refused to address the issue. Despite keeping their relationship under wraps, reports suggest the two are spending less time together and have remained silent about their supposedly wedding preparations.

While fans waited for the couple to show up together during the MTV Video Music Awards, considering FKA Twigs' multiple nominations, the "Twilight" star and singer-songwriter failed to attend the event as they both have separate matters to attend.

Although breakup rumors continue to be linked at the engaged couple, Pattinson has somehow proven he still cares for his partner as he stood up for her against racist comments FKA Twigs has been receiving online.

"I was talking to my dad about this and I bet him that if he looked up Nelson Mandela's funeral on YouTube, the first comment would be a racist one. And it was, with like a million upvotes," the actor told NME.

Pattinson continued, "What I don't get is why. I think it's because most normal people are not commenters - I've never met anyone who's left a comment on anything. It's just demons who live in basements."

Meanwhile, the "Twilight" actor is reportedly envy of Kristen Stewart's relationship with Alicia Cargile. Although this remains unconfirmed, Pattinson is allegedly depressed over the current status of Stewart, who appeared to have completely moved on from her relationship with "Twilight" co-star based from her recent interview with E! Online.

During the tell-it-all interview, Stewart described her past relationship with Pattinson as "gross" and said "People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into product. It wasn't real life anymore."
