Along with the new boss of the S.H.I.E.L.D., Ghost Rider will be introduced in Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 as the flaming spirit of vengeance Robbie Reyes comes riding the 1969 Dodge Charger.

In the first two episodes of Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4, Daisy will meet the flaming Ghost Rider while Director Coulson meets his new boss. The season premiere, "The Ghost" tells the aftermath of the team's journey to outer space after successfully taking down Hydra and eliminating supervilain Hive at the cost of Lincoln Campbell's live. Daisy leaves the agency and encounter Reyes' the Ghost Rider.

Executive producer Jeff Bell tells Yahoo TV News that the appearance of Ghost Rider in the Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 opens up a different kind of story telling. As one of the well-known Marvel character, Ghost Rider opens the opportunity for the story to enter supernatural world.

"That's not just a leap for the show, which exists mostly in a world of 'spies and agents,' it's a leap for the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe," Bell said.

In the Marvel Universe, there are many Ghost Rider characters. The original one was Johnny Blaze with his flaming motorcycle. Afterward, Daniel Keltch becomes the spirit of vengeance and followed by the only female Ghost Rider, Alejandra. The last Ghost Rider is Robbie Reyes who appears in the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4.

However, according to Comicbook.com, the idea to bring in Ghost Rider into the series already faces its challenges. One of them is the criticisms about the foolishness of Marvel to "waste" Ghost Rider on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4.

The new season will follow through from "Captain America: Civil War" movie. After the Sokovia Accords is ratified, S.H.I.E.L.D. is able to operate openly as the organization is legimatized. The second episode "Meet the New Boss" will introduce new boss, because Coulson is unable to become the face of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the world presumes that he is already dead.

Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 stars Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, and Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie, along with other recurring characters. While Gabriel Luna is cast as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will premieres Sept. 20 on ABC at 10 p.m. ET.
