In a recent interview, WINNER member Song Min Ho has finally spoken up to addressed a couple of issues involving him - dating rumors with pop singer Heo Chan Mi and WNNER's delayed comeback.

Dating rumors between Song and Heo started in April in the midst of Heo's popularity for appearing on "Produce 101." After five months of being linked to the pop singer, Song has finally put an end to the issue and denied the dating rumors. "I think rumors spread among fans because she is my close noona, but it's [a] false information.  The dating rumors are not true," the WINNER member said as quoted by Allkpop.

Meanwhile, Song also revealed the reason behind the delay of their comeback. "We don't promote often and there have been a lot of incidents where our song [releases] have been postponed," he said according to Soompi.

The rapper also apologized to their supporters for the delay, "I am always sorry and grateful to fans who wait for us. We are making the effort to make up for it with even better songs," Song added.

He went on, "Of course, there are times when I get impatient because I know that fans have been waiting a lot. But I think I can lose something when I am impatient.  We are making the effort to show you a more polished version of us."

WINNER officially debuted in 2014 under YG Entertainment. A year before that, the five-member group was featured in a reality program called "WIN: Who is Next" where they competed against another band formed by the same label.

On the other hand, Song made his solo debut just this year with the release of his single titled "BODY" under "The Mobb" album which is a collaborative album between Song and iKON's Bobby also known as MOBB.
