Police confirmed on Monday that former Girl's Generation Jessica has filed complaints to Gangnam police station earlier this month.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 27-year-old singer-actor filed the petition in the Gangnam police station. Police announced that her complaint was filed against two netizens who wrote malicious comments about her.

Jung accused the netizens of writing comments that belittling her looks and sexually harrassing her. They conducted the action on the Korean Internet portal site Naver in May. Police said that she seek an investigation into them for allegedly insulting her, as reported by Korea Times.

Jessica, who was born and raised in San Fransisco, was a member of Girl's Generation. She was scouted when she was 11-year-old by SM Entertainment Agency during her vacation trip in Seoul with her younger sister Krystal. She joined the agency in 2000 and spending seven years as trainee before debuted as the members of Girls' Generation in 2007.

Jessica established her fashion brand Blanc & Eclare in 2014 as her business venture. Later on, her business activies complicated her relationship with other members of Girl's Generation and her agency. In the same year, SM Entertainment dismissed her from the group, followed by her decision to end the contract with SM.

During her career in Girl's Generation, Jessica was nicknamed "ice princess," due to her cold expression. She is also known as a straight forward person, who often responded a question with insensitive and blunt answer. Traditionally, people in Asia considered her behavior as rude, therefore there are many people in Korea who developed animosity toward her.

Two netizens whom she reported are some of those people. As police said during the questioning, Jessica said that they have posted malicious comment about her many times.

In respond to their continous trolls in the social media, she decided to file complaints. Gangnam police station on Monday confirmed that her complaints have already been filed earlier this month.
