DC's upcoming film "Suicide Squad" will premiere in less than a month, and as a part of the film's promotion, a "Suicide Squad" filter was seen on snapchat a few days ago.

According to Ecumenical News, an announcement was posted on Facebook saying "Assemble your squad for an insane #4thofJuly. Snap a photo using our exclusive #SuicideSquad filter, available today on Snapchat!"

"Suicide Squad" is not the ordinary superhero vs. villain kind of movie, as the film revolves around a group of villains who was forced to fight for the good side in exchange for a shortened prison sentence. The cast of the star studded movie includes U.S. Intelligence Officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Deadshot (Will Smith), Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Slipknot (Adam Beach) and Katana (Karen Fukuhara).

In other news, during an interview with Margot Robbie, she dished out some spec of details on what people should expect with her character Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad."

According to Collider, Harley Quinn was supposed to be just another villain that Batman encountered, but since Robbie was introduced to be the actress reprising the role, and tidbits of the film which showed scenes with Harley Quinn in it, the character instantly became a fan favorite.

During Robbie's interview with Vanity Fair, she described how Harley Quinn and Joker's relationship was before the Suicide Squad was formed, wherein she stated "They have a dysfunctional relationship, but she loves him anyway. She used to be a gymnast - that's her skill set when fighting."

On the same report, it stated that the "Suicide Squad" would also feature deep revelations about Harley Quinn's past - during her days as a Soap Opera actress in "Days of Our Lives" and how she transformed from an actress to a villain.

"Suicide Squad" will hit the big screens on Aug. 5.
