Gugudan, the new girl group from Jellyfish Entertainment, have released their album cover image.
On Wednesday, June 22, their second debut film entitled "The Little Mermaid" was also released as the second installment of their content series in their pre-debut week.
In the video, the group introduce the concept of their debut album called "The Little Mermaid." The video shows them working together to practice and rehearse a play which is a rendition of "The Little Mermaid." It seems that the group is aiming for a refreshing, lively concept with ocean colors mixed with symbols. The girls have an oceanic-themed concept. Their glittering blue dresses represent fish scales and bring out the beauty of each member. The girls also line up blue tarps and wave it around to create the illusion of a flowing ocean.
On June 20, their first debut film entitled "Gugudan Theater" was released, following their timetable that gave details of the events and/or releases toward ahead of the debut date. In the first film, each member was introduced with their various tasks around the theater, such as putting posters and checking tickets.
Many fans cannot wait to see gugudan on their debut this coming June 28. A highlight medley or audio preview of the songs on their upcoming album will be released on June 24.
Also, a bonus video was also released which was not included in their official pre-debut release schedule. V Live of Naver uploaded an exclusive video of this "Debut Film #3." In this bonus video, the staff highlights the girls' personal details while they talk more about it.
