Super Junior's Kyuhyun is leaving a gift to fans before his military enlistment. As stated by his agency, SM Entertainment, the "Gwanghwamun" singer is set to release his new single called "Goodbye for Now" on May 24, a present for fans.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kyuhyun will be dropping the song in three versions including Korean, Japanese and Chinese. All of the versions are going to be released on the same day and time, a day prior to the singer's enlistment May 25.
Moreover, "Goodbye for Now" is set to be released via popular music streaming sites starting at 6 p.m. KST on May 24. For fans who just cannot wait to get their hands on the single can also opt to place their order in advance via online music store Yes24 and brick and mortar store Kyobo Hottracks. Pre-orders starts on May 15.
In addition to the single, Kyuhyun will also meet his fans for the last time via a special fan meeting aptly titled "The Day We Meet Again." This event is happening at Seoul's Grand Peace Hall at Kyung Hee University on May 20.
Meanwhile, the Super Junior member will also film for his last appearance on tvN's "New Journey to the West." Along with his co-stars which include Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Eun Ji Won, Ahn Jae Hyun and WINNER's Song Mino, Kyuhyun already flew to Vietnam for the filming of the show's new season.
A representative from tvN relayed to the fans that the cast and crew are shooting in Vietnam for a full week. The rep added that the whole team is set to return to Korea on May 15, Seoul News reported.
Finally, the new season of "New Journey to the West" is scheduled to air in June. By the time the show airs, Kyuhyun would have entered the army already so this is good news for his fans who will surely miss him right away.
