Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon are the latest celebrities to be involved in dating controversy. Various media released stories about the two actors' supposed romantic relationship and the internet is on fire as fans discuss the possibility of the news being true.
According to TV Report, the rumors started after Shin Hye and Tae Joon were spotted on a vacation together in April. Although they were with friends, some people suspect that something special is going on with them.
A short clip of the said vacation is also being circulated on the web and those who saw it noticed how close the two were. Also, just last week, Shin Hye and Tae Joon were seen together again at the national park. As a result, many were convinced that they are dating.
As a response to the rumors, Salt Entertainment, Park Shin Hye's agency, released a statement last week. "They just have a close senior-junior relationship," Soompi quoted the agency rep as saying. "Because Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon are both students at Chung Ang University, they have maintained a good friendship as industry senior and junior."
The representative continues to explain that fans know very well about Shin Hye and Tae Joon's close friendship. He also emphasized the fact that the "Pinocchio" actress is also close to a lot of people and even if they went out together with their friends, many only recognized the two actors, thus they are being suspected of dating.
Meanwhile, after the success of her hit movie "My Annoying Brother" which she co-starred with Jo Jung Seok and EXO's D.O., Park Shin Hye recently wrapped up filming of another film entitled "Silent Witness." The new movie is set to premiere in theaters in 2017, with no definite release date yet.
As for Choi Tae Joon, he will be appearing in another drama called "Suspicious Partner." He will be acting as a lawyer alongside popular actors Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun. The drama is scheduled to air on May 10 via SBS.
