Heechul is the newest idol to be involved in a car collision while on his way to a filming.

Earlier reports claimed the Super Junior was headed to shoot an episode of JTBC's "Ask Us Anything" when he encountered an accident. "Heechul was involved in a 5-car accident. It wasn't a big accident," a source said as per Allkpop. "As it was minor, his manager was left on the scene to deal with it."

The source added that the idol went straight to the filming set and wrapped up the recording session without any problem. Despite that, his fans and colleagues could not help but worry about Heechul.

In fact, Yesung took to his Instagram account to show his concern after learning about the incident. "Glad Hee Bong (Heechul) wasn't badly hurt," he wrote alongside a selca with his Super Junior co-member.

Fans were also in mayhem after hearing about Heechul's car accident. Most of them were quick to send their well-wishes to the idol through his SNS accounts. Heechul, on the other hand, assured them that he is doing just fine.

"Please wear a seatbelt. That's why I didn't get hurt today. We were able to avoid a big accident because my manager was quick on his feet," he wrote as per Soompi.

The Super Junior member admitted everyone on SM Entertainment and "Ask Us Anything" was worried about him when he informed them of what happened.

"Everyone was worried about me, telling me to not overexert myself and to get to the hospital immediately. But you know me... "If I'm not there, who would be there to make bad jokes?" So I went to the filming session, and it went well," he said.

Heechul ended his post with a reminder to all his followers to always wear the seatbelt when travelling.
