President Tom Kirkman gets help Congresswoman Kimble Hookstraten for the passing of his first bill in the House. "Designated Survivor" Season 1, episode 16 is entitled "Party Lines" and is scheduled to air on Wednesday, Apr. 12 on ABC Network.

In the promo for "Designated Survivor" Season 1, episode 16, President Kirkman addresses and clarifies that the new bill is not about taking the guns away from the American people. But, the bill is about making sure that guns don't fall into the wrong hands.
Meanwhile, Senator Jack Bowman wants to corner President Kirkman after the First Lady's comments about gun rights. Bowman wants people of the country to believe that under President Kirkman's administration their 2nd Amendment Right is under serious threat.
Elsewhere, Agent Hannah Wells along with John Atwood embark on a mission to uncover the conspiracy. In the previous "Designated Survivor" Season 1 episode entitled "100 Days," President Kirkman has given complete access to Agent Wells to investigate the Capitol bombing and bring the culprits to justice.
The new "Designated Survivor" Season 1 episode shows Agent Wells informs Agent Ritter about a new alarming situation that can be a major threat to the United States of America. Will Agent Wells be able to avoid this threat from taking down the nation again?
