Former 2NE1 members Park Bom and CL stepped out to support Sandara Park as she makes her big-screen debut in the movie "One Step." The trio snapped photos together at the premiere in Seoul, proving that their friendship has remained solid even after 2NE1's disbandment.
Dara's "One Step" movie premiered on March 29 in Seoul, and 2NE1 members CL and Park Bom were present during the event, allkpop reported. Both Park Bom and CL shared photos with Dara in their respective social media accounts to show their support for the latter.
This is the first time that Dara, Park Bom and CL were spotted together after 2NE1 officially disbanded in November 2016.
In "One Step" Dara Park plays Si Hyun. She suffers from memory loss as a result of a fatal car accident. Her character meets Jee Il, a struggling songwriter portrayed by Han Jae Suk. Si Hyun, with the help of Jee Il, tries to piece together bits of what she remembers from her past by completing a melody Si Hyun frequently hears in her dreams.
"One Step" is dubbed as the South Korean remake of the Hollywood film "Begin Again," which starred Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine. Dara Park's character is the counterpart of Knightley's. Contrary to previous rumors, Levine is not making a cameo appearance in "One Step."
Variety reported that "One Step" is directed by Jun Jai Hong and is produced by MCC Entertainment, the same film studio that released critically acclaimed dramas such as "Jewel in the Palace."
"One Step" marks Sandara's entry into film as it is her first big screen role. She has been actively pursuing various projects following 2NE1's disbandment last year. She currently has projects in South Korea and overseas. Meanwhile, CL has been working on her solo music in the United States.
