Colin Kaepernick is still unsigned after his contract with San Fransisco 49ers ended. Most NFL teams do not consider him as a worthy quarter back.

As the quarter backs are signed with the new team, the 29-year-old Kaepernick is still unsigned and unemployed after his contract with San Fransisco 49ers ended. Most part of the reason is because he is a terrible player, New York Post reported. In his entire career, he has been sacked 171 times, one of the worst record for a quarterback. Furthermore his passing accuracy is very low with only 58.9 percent of passing completion and total quarter back rating of 64.9.

Kaepernick has passed his prime when he led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2012 before the 49ers was defeated by Baltimore Ravens 31-34. He made an average passing of 8.3 with total 1,814 yards in 13 games during regular season. Subsequently, his record decreased rapidly, which led him to take a drastic measure to seek attention with his national anthem protest last season.

He began his attention-seeking act in the preseason games when he refused to stand during the national anthem but remain sitting. He changed his act by kneeling during the game against San Diego Chargers on Sept. 1 as the last preseason game. He continued his action throughout the season.

His action successfully gave him the attention he desperately needed. Some athletes follow his suit to do the national anthem protest and he gained a celebrity status.

Unfortunately, his action backfired. NFL fans, including the 49ers fans were outraged with his action. As the citizen, he has the right to protest, but showing disrespect against the veterans and national anthem is too much and intolerable. According to Washington Post, his action hurt his own career.
