HaHa is now a father of two boys after his wife Byul gave birth to their second child on March 22.
According to Soompi, Byul delivered a healthy baby boy on Wednesday morning. A source affiliated with HaHa and Byul confirmed the news and said the two are in good shape.
"The mother and the child are both healthy. HaHa is very happy at the moment," the source said.
The couple previously welcomed their first child in 2013, a year after they tied the knot in a private ceremony at the Grand Ballroom, Seoul.
The wedding was attended by some of their close friends including "Running Man" cast members Kim Joong Kook, Yoo Jae Suk, Gary and many others from the entertainment industry.
HaHa and Byul's announcement of tying the knot came as a shock to the press. Hence, the "Running Man" member admitted the media bombarded him with questions after he personally revealed the wedding plans.
"The reporters close to me sent a lot of curveball questions. There were a lot of questions about physical contact, which I felt was unfair," he said as per Drama Fever.
The show host, however, cleared out he was being a perfect gentleman until he and Byul got married.
"I lost my temper and told [the reporters] about "chastity before marriage." I was going to tell them in a nice way, but it happened like that. I was apologetic towards Byul and her mother," HaHa explained.
Reports stated Byul got pregnant even before her wedding with HaHa. But apparently, the couple have registered their marriage even before the big day.
"It was before our wedding day but it wasn't premarital. We registered a month before the actual wedding day," HaHa added.
The pair named their first child Dream, while the second has a nickname of So Wool.
