From the initial plan of returning on the 19th, Jackson has been confirmed to extend his break to fully regain his physical strength in order to join his GOT7 co-members in promoting their newest album "Flight Log: Arrival."

On Sunday, JYP Entertainment released an official statement to apologize to GOT7 fans who have been looking forward for the return of Jackson on Monday as promised.

"Jackson, who had been originally planning to take a break until the 19th, will be extending his rest period and will not be participating in the schedules on the 20th," the label wrote as per Allkpop.

The dispatch continued, "As for the "Genie School Attack," we apologize for not being able to tell you sooner because of the way the event is formatted. We will tell fans first thing as soon as his exact return date is confirmed."

JYP Entertainment ended the statement with an apology to all GOT7 fans for the short notice on Jackson's comeback schedule.

While many were disappointed to hear the news, others were rather understanding of the GOT7 member's current situation. Some fans even thanked JYP Entertainment for being considerate of the idol and his decision to get some more rest.

It can be recalled that Jackson collapsed during GOT7's fan meeting last Mar. 11. Koreaboo cited the idol even threw up after he was escorted backstage for fainting in front of their fans.

The GOT7 member was immediately rushed to hospital following the incident. The incident has left their fans, especially those who were present at the fan meeting, worried about the idol.

However, Jackson and his agency assured fans that the idol is doing well.  Meanwhile, GOT7 is soaring high with "Flight Log: Arrival" and its title track "Never Ever."  In fact, the seven-member group has been dominating several music charts for their newest release.
