"Hwarang" actor Park Seo Joon and "Descendants of the Sun" actress Kim Ji Won have been confirmed for a new romance drama. The upcoming series, titled "Third-Rate My Way," will follow the story of two individuals who will struggle to face the realities of life.
From his flower boy role in the recently ended "Hwarang," Park Seo Joon will play as a mixed martial arts fighter in the newest drama. Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won takes the character of Choi Ae Ra, who ended up working at a shopping mall instead of pursuing her dream to become an announcer.
"Third-Rate My Way" will revolve around the lives of these two characters in their pursuit to lead a happy life despite their lacking skills. According to Allkpop, Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won are long-time friends until they started falling for each other.
Unlike other series, "Third-Rate My Way" intends to present a more realistic approach in romance dramas. The new KBS2 drama will take the Wednesday-Thursday late night timeslot starting May.
