The chosen stars to play the part as JFK and Jackie in the forthcoming scenes of "The Crown" season 2 are Michael C. Hall and Jodi Balfour. They will join Claire Foy in showcasing the former events pertaining to the longest reigning monarch of this time.

The storyline centers in the month of June 1961. The JFK and Jackie made their way to London and into the Buckingham Palace. More details relayed by Mirror mentioned that the episode centers on how the visit was considered difficult because divorcees were not invited to state dinners at Buckingham Palace.

It stands out that Jackie wants her sister Lee Radziwill, who had a second husband, to attend and according to the same report, the episode will show that the Queen was furious with Jackie, but reluctantly agreed and later on, the two women met again nine months later, when it was just the two of them.

Additional reports from OK relayed that "The Crown" will then continue on for a third season, but both Claire and Matt Smith have confirmed they will not be taking part in a third series of the Netflix drama since the cast will be replaced with older actors as the timeline jumps ahead.

As for the air date of "The Crown" season 2, many are expecting that the series would air in the late months of 2017. Looking back on the timeline, the first season was released last November 2016, which is why some are insinuating that Netflix would follow the same streaming date.
