Kim Taehyung, also known as V, is winning the hearts of the audience for his acting in "Hwarang." In fact, the BTS member made them cry after his tragic death in the KBS2 drama.
Apparently, Kim Taehyung is not only good at performing with BTS, but has also proven his acting skills in "Hwarang." The historical drama marks his acting debut; yet, the idol-turned-actor did not fail his fans in playing as Hansung.
However, the BTS member broke the hearts of his fans after his character was killed on the Feb. 14 episode of the KBS2 drama. After wrapping up his role in "Hwarang," Kim Taehyung is only hopeful that viewers were able to feel his genuineness through Hansung.
"I hope that viewers can also feel the sincerity I did through him. To be honest, I was burdened because it was my first time acting, and I was nervous," Kim Taehyung said as per Allkpop.
The idol-turned-actor also thanked his "Hwarang" co-actors Park Seo Joon, Hyungsik, Minho, Do Ji Han, Cho Yoon Woo, Kim Hyun Joon, and Sung Do Il. On top of that, Kim Taehyung expressed his gratitude to the director and the rest of the production team.
With his commendable performance in "Hwarang," it is safe to forecast that Kim Taehyung is bound for more acting opportunities. Aside from his acting, the BTS member gets praised for his passion to learn.
When asked about Kim Taehyung, Do Ji Han has nothing but kind words about his "Hwarang" co-actor. Soompi cited the latter admitted they were initially worried about the BTS member, considering it was his acting project.
While filming for "Hwarang," everyone was surprised to witness Kim Taehyung's willingness to learn from his seniors. The BTS member even made the effort to reach out to them for help.
"[Kim] Taehyung unexpectedly worked really really hard. He's talented by nature. Whenever I saw him, I naturally found myself smiling," Do Ji Han added.
