NBA trade deadline is just a week away and teams are busy to revamp the rosters for make the team better. From among the teams, LA Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers are the most possible biggest buyers.

According to Bleacher Report, Clippers is interested to get Carmelo Anthony from New York. The Clippers and Knicks are reported to have initiated a negotiation since last month to reach the deal which exclude Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Chris Paul and J.J. Redick.

The deal to bring Anthony to Staples Center may send Austin Rivers away to New York. The trade will be beneficial for Rivers, because it allows him to shine brighter, away from the shadow of his father LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers and main point guard Chris Paul.

Moreover, Rivers has evolved to become a threat in the back court. He will give a good depth in the Knicks and to support the aging Derrick Rose.

As for 76ers, the team is still looking to find a suitable big man. The Philadelphia 76ers is reported to put its center Jahlil Okafor on the trading board. According to ESPN, Okafor was benched due to the heating up speculations about his trade.

Philadelphia 76ers is the team with the abundant of big men. Okafor, Joel Embiid and Nerlens Noel are equally good centers and it is impossible to play all of them at once. The most feasible option is to trade one of them for an excellent point guard or shooting guard.

The Sixers is now at the 13th position in the Eastern Conference and it may not make it to the playoffs this season. However, Sixers will be a serious playoffs contender next season when trade of one of its big men is sucessful along with Ben Simmons to return after the devastating injury before the beginning of this season.
