Konami is known to have published noteworthy games such as "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" and "Castlevania: Lords of Shado-Mirror of Fate." However, despite the game company's success, setbacks are rattling the tech firm owing to the lack of knowledge regarding the "Super Bomberman R" platform.
With the negativity, trailing Konami, claims of Hideo Kojima having the time of his life is on the rise. Given the working relationship of Kojima and Konami and how it turned sour, it is understandable why Kojima's name would be tagged in the reports.
Despite the presumptions, there has been no confirmation of Kojima voicing out negative things for Konami, thus all of the speculations are debunked. On a different note, Digital Trends reported that Konami releases the next installment in the long-running Bomberman franchise for the Nintendo Switch next month which is the "Bomberman," but it appears that Konami itself doesn't even seem to know what the "R" means.

"R is a throwback feel for the developers and a Konami representative on the Bomberman subreddit stated that, "It symbolizes 'Returns' and 'Reborn' because this game is such an homage to the SNES and Super Bomberman 3, but it also means "Rangers," to represent the diverse and colorful group of Bomberman characters who patrol the galaxy," as cited by the same post.
@NintendoAmerica you guys are doing lots of partnerships with 3rd party devs. you should team with Konami to remake Hybrid Heaven. pic.twitter.com/3kvP7yiC2c — Patrick stricklin (@Patrickstrick19) February 1, 2017
Silconera also relayed of how Konami perceives the letter "R." For the tech firm, the letter showcases many meanings and symbols. Given the diversity of the new franchise, gamers are still wondering as to the full specs and features of the game.
However, there has been no concrete details released about the game and its features. For the gaming enthusiasts, "Super Bomberman R" is slated for release on the Nintendo Switch this coming March 3, 2017.
