Hair loss is a huge concern for most men and a medication that claims to treat it has some bad side effects. The drug is called finasteride and it is the same hair loss treatment that President Donald Trump is using for his male-pattern baldness.

In an article published by The Washington Post, a drug that is widely used by men with a balding problem has side effects that could affect their sexual activities, physical appearance, and even their mental state. The many symptoms of this case are called finasteride syndrome.

The side effects could go really bad that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) even required manufacturers to change the drug's label. This is applicable to brand names like Propecia and Proscar. The FDA said that companies releasing these drugs must include a warning to buyers about its possibility to cause libido disorders.

Not only that because it is also linked to problems with ejaculation and also orgasm. Buyers should be aware that these symptoms could still occur even after they stopped using the medication.
The basis of its side effects started from a study back in 1992 that was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. It was approved by the FDA during that time because it was proven effective for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

CNN confirmed that President Trump is indeed using the same medication for prostate but only to treat his hair loss problem. Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, the president's personal doctor told the media about Trump's current state of health, which involves his controversial hair.

His doctor also added that Trump is also fighting a skin disease called rosacea, which is why he also taking some antibiotics. Now, at least everyone knows what is his secret in keeping his hair looking luscious and vibrant.
