Lee Jong Suk's recent good deed is making his fans go "aww" as the Korean actor has been reported to have saved a stray cat.

According to Allkpop, fans were touched upon learning about how Lee Jong Suk rescued a stray cat he encountered during a filming in Busan. An insider shared the Korean actor was recording for his upcoming movie, titled "V.I.P," when he saw a cat along the road.

Lee Jong Suk reportedly saved the stray cat from winter cold and even tried to look for its owner. After failing to locate the owner, the "W" star brought the stray cat to Seoul to find it a new home.

Reports claimed the actor meticulously selected the cat's new home himself. On Instagram, Lee Jong Suk has uploaded several videos of himself with his pet cat. Aside from that, the actor reportedly owns two pet dogs.

In other news, YG Entertainment revealed the actor has gathered a total of 5,000 fans for a two-day fan meeting event held at the Omiya Sonic City Big Hall in Japan. Korea Joongang daily reported the recent gathering was an encore of Lee Jong Suk's event last September.

Despite being scheduled on weekdays, more than 8,000 fans showed interest in joining Lee Jong Suk for the fan meeting event in Japan. In return, the Korean actor reportedly gave his fans chocolates and bouquets during the gathering last Wednesday and Thursday.

Not only that, Lee Jong Suk also made an announcement that he will soon start filming his upcoming drama "While You Were Sleeping" following the success of "V.I.P" shooting.

Warner Bros Korea confirmed they have completed the three-month filming of the upcoming movie last month. "V.I.P" follows the story of Gwang Il (Lee Jong Suk), a suspect for serial killings around the world.

"I am anticipating this film very much, and I was able to have fun with a 'galaxy' of actors while filming," the 27-year-old actor said.

"V.I.P" is expected to be released this year.
