The upcoming Huawei P10 flagship smartphone is rumored to have a bigger and premium companion. A handful of recent leaks have pointed to the existence of the Huawei P10 Plus. If these leaks are true, the bigger P10 model will sport curved display, a metal finish, and some pretty interesting hardware specs.

At the heart of the Huawei P10 Plus is rumored to be a Kirin 965 chipset from semiconductor manufacturer HiSilicon, which Huawei also owned. The chipset is the upgraded successor of the high-end Kirin 960 which have set some interesting benchmark results in the past.

Aside from sporting a shiny new chipset, the Huawei P10 Plus is also rumored to be available in two configurations. One configuration has a 6GB memory and 128GB storage space combo, while the more premium one has an 8GB memory and 256GB storage space, according to Phone Arena.

On the camera aspect, the Huawei P10 Plus will have two 12-megapixel rear facing shooters in dual configuration, according to PC Advisor. On the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Huawei P10 Plus is rumored to have a 3650mAh battery pack. Since it is a flagship device, the phone will most likely run on Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei's own EMUI 5.0 custom interface on top.

The most interesting rumor so far regarding the Huawei P10 Plus is the supposed iris scanner. While most flagship devices from major smartphone companies have fingerprint scanners on them, Huawei is raising the bar even higher by embedding an iris scanner into its flagship device. If this is true, the iris scanner feature will give users additional security options. This will also give Huawei an interesting marketing scenario, wherein the company will rely heavily on the iris scan feature to market the P10 Plus.

Huawei is expected to unveil the P10 Plus, along with the rest of the P10 lineup, at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
