Lucifer looks anything but vengeful in the promo trailer for "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 14. Maze also hints at his revenge when the show returns from its winter finale.
Fox has released a preview for "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 14, "Candy Morningstar." The trailer teases what Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) plans to do next, after he learned that he has been manipulated. The video shows the devil looking broody and he appears anything but happy and satisfied.
Likewise, Lucifer has that all-too familiar look when he is angry. He has his lips pursed and his eyes glint as he plays the piano. Lucifer appears as if he has something big planned. Is he thinking about getting his revenge on his mother Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) and on Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside)?
The trailer for "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 14 teases he has something drastic planned against his family. Even Maze thinks Lucifer is planning his revenge.
It is understandable why Lucifer would feel betrayed and wants revenge. After all, he just learned that Charlotte and Amenadiel had manipulated his feelings for Chloe Decker (Lauren German). He is also mad at his father, since he believes that he planned out his life on Earth for him.
To recap, in "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 13, the devil learned that Chloe was put on his path by God. Lucifer believes that his life has all been a lie. He feels betrayed by his father and believes that he too manipulated his feelings for Chloe.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear what Lucifer does for revenge in "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 14. Perhaps he involves Maze in his revenge plan. Previously leaked photos from the set of the series showed the pair in a bloody fight. Hollywoodnorth.buzz shared images of Maze and Lucifer fighting each other.
Likewise, it remains unknown whether Chloe and Lucifer will ever be together again. According to Cartermatt, fans want more than anything is to see them become a couple. Viewers will have to wait and see what happens when "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 14 airs in May.
