Bob Morley dished about Clarke and Bellamy's relationship in "The 100" Season 4 in a recent interview. He said that he understands fans' wish to see Bellarke get into a romantic relationship, although he did not confirm if this happens in the instalment.
Morley, who plays Bellamy, previews his character's love life in "The 100" Season 4 in an interview with Screener TV. He talked about Bellarke and the developments in their relationship in the instalment. Morley described Clarke and Bellamy's relationship as nothing more than friendship. The latter can be himself when around the Skaikru leader.
"I think the relationship with Clarke is one of the one where he can be open with her, and be vulnerable, which - there's not many people he was like that with in his life," Morley told the publication.
The actor supposed that this is the reason why fans entertain the idea that Bellarke could become romantically involved. He understands the shipping frenzy that fans have for the pair. However, Morley did not give any hint that Bellamy and Clarke goes beyond friendship in "The 100" Season 4.
"That's why people might gravitate towards that, because there is a side of Bellamy that she brings out that doesn't really come out with anybody else," Morley further told the publication.
This is not the first time that Morley commented about the Bellarke shippers. He told the publication in a previous interview that he is not eager to see Bellamy and Clarke get together romantically.
Likewise, Eliza Taylor, who plays Clarke, shared the same sentiment. She told the publication that she does not necessarily want to see Bellamy and Clarke get into a romantic relationship or get dirty. Taylor said that she prefers what Bellarke has now, since they make a good team.
The trailer for "The 100" Season 4 also did not give any hint of romance between Bellamy and Clarke. Perhaps Bellarke shippers may just have to settle for the pair being good and supportive friends.
