Speculations are now flying that "Arrow" actress Elysia Rotaru has jumped ship to Marvel to play a role in the upcoming "Inhumans" tv series.
In a tweet, "Black Sails" director Roel Reine took it to Twitter to show off the IMAX cameras that will be used for the "Inhumans" project. In one of the replies, actress Elysia Rotaru who played Taiana on "Arrow" was spotted. She replied in a way that suggests her involvement in the project, Screen Rant reported.
Reine's post was immediately deleted after it was posted that Rotaru's comment is still online. In a screengrab by Comic Book Resources, Reign can be seen holding a huge camera that will be used for the series. The caption reads "IMAX And so it begins. Camera testing a digital IMAX camera for our #Marvel #Inhumans shoot. Especially wide angle lenses. Very cool format!"
Marvel TV has yet to issue an official statement regarding casting announcements. However, a call sheet has revealed which comic book characters will make appearances in the series.
The characters included in the list are named Broderick, Marjorie, Marty, Kevin, Grady, Christine and Timothy. While it remains to be seen, the description easily hints at the Inhuman Royal Family composed of Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, Maximus, Crystal, Gorgon and Triton known in the comics.
Based on the character breakdowns, Rotaru would match the description of Medusa given her age. Additionally, she currently has an open schedule and does not have any upcoming projects according to her IMDB profile, Screen Rant reported.
For the uninitiated, Black Bolt is the head of the Inhumans family whose voice could destroy mountains. His wife Medusa, has the ability to use her hair as a weapon. Maximus is Black Bolt's conniving brother. Karnak is an Inhuman living weapon who is an expert at finding weakness in anything while Grady is a horse-legged Gorgon.
