Known as one of the four members of the K-pop girl group f(x), Victoria Song is set to star in her fifth drama series. She will play a powerful sorceress named Li Luo in the upcoming Chinese drama series "Ice Fantasy" to be broadcast on Hunan Satellite Television Diamond independent broadcast theater.

Based on the bestselling novel by Guo Jing Ming of the same name, "Ice Fantasy" is an epic fantasy TV series directed by Ju Jue Liang and written by Shen Zhi Ning. Set a hundred years after the Empire of Snow (Ice Tribe) won a war against the Fire Tribe, the story revolves around the love story of Li Luo and Prince Ka Suo, one of the only two royal heirs and pure-blood ice illusionists left in the Ice Tribe after the war.

Played by Jackie Chan's "Dragon Blade" co Feng Shaofeng, Prince Ka Suo is entitled to the throne since he is older than his younger half-brother Yong Kong Shi, the other royal heir. Described to be a cold, mysterious and silent person, Yong Kong Shi desires to replace his older half-brother as king of the Ice Tribe.

Yong Kong Shi will be played by Chinese Mandopop artist Ma Tianyu. Joining him, Feng and Song in the main cast of "Ice Fantasy" is Zhang Meng, who is best known for her lead role in the "Jade Dynasty" online video game.

Aside from "Ice Fantasy," Feng and Song will also star in the Chinese remake of the 1997 Hollywood romantic comedy film "My Best Friend's Wedding," which starred Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz. The remake is set to be released in China on Valentine's Day, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Since filming for "Ice Fantasy" started, rumors about Feng and Song dating in real life spread. However, a source close to Feng told Soompi, "The scenes in the video took place during rehearsals. The director and the production crew were present, monitoring the scene. The two actors merely became good friends while working together."

The "My Best Friend's Wedding" remake will be Song's second film following her debut on the big screen in the 2012 South Korean romantic comedy "My New Sassy Girl." On the other hand, Feng has starred in more than 10 films including "Dragon Blade," which also starred John Cusack, Adrien Brody and K-pop male group Super Junior member Choi Si-won.
