Nintendo Switch is now available for pre-order

Nintendo Switch is now available for pre-order and game enthusiasts have been waiting for the new generation of game console from one of the largest video game companies.

The new game console is a hybrid and all in one device, according to CNET . This is a tablet, a console and also a portable multiplayer tabletop game system all-in-one. Nintendo Switch is now available for pre-order at the price of $300.

Nintendo introduced the console for the first time in October last year. The company mentioned the device as the game console for everyone regardless of age in the introduction trailer.

Creative Director of Nintendo Shigeru Miyamoto and Chief Operating Officer Reggie Fils-Aimé appeared in “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in December 2016 and presented the device to the host Jimmy Fallon. He then tried to play one of the game “Breath of the Wild” using the console.

Furthermore, Nintendo also held various events around the world to try the new devicefor the press and game enthusiasts. At first, the press event took place in Tokyo earlier this month. The Kyoto-based company presented the full specifications, designated retail price and game lineup for the Swith on Jan. 13.

Similar events were also held in Paris and News York. Subsequently, Nintendo created Treehouse Event to allow invited participants to try the Switch in New York, Toronto, Washington DC, Chicago, San Fransisco and Los Angeles starting this week. The invited participants are members of My Nintendo loyalty program.

Nintendo annnounced that limited pre-order started on Jan. 13 at New York’s Nintendo Store. The pre-order was also available at GameStop, Amazon, Target, Walmart and Best Buy. According to columnist Alex Hern from Guardian, he is confident enough to make pre-order because of the games which available in the console.
