Two of the most anticipated superhero flicks in 2017 is Wolverine's solo movie "Logan," directed by James Mangold and the Zack Synder-directed "Justice League" movie.
A fan tweeted to both directors and asked for a new trailer release as a birthday present, ScreenRant reported. James Mangold surprisingly acknowledged the tweet and asked Zack Synder if he could help him out and give the fan a sneak peek or two for the upcoming "Justice League," which is set to drop in November 2017.
"Logan" is out in March this year, which is less than two months away but a second trailer for the movie hasn't been released yet, according to Comicbook. Fox is doing a different kind of promotion instead, using 1,974 postcards that consists of stills to give away to fans. Each of those postcards contain a still from the unreleased second trailer, as per Collider.
While "Justice League" has only shown one trailer so far, Zack Synder sometimes drops promotional images on Twitter. As for "Logan," based on James Mangold's tweet, it appears that a second trailer release for the movie is still out of the question. While the chances of having any of the two movies drop a new trailer this week is quite slim, the fan is still lucky to get his birthday wish acknowledged.
Fans have asked for the complete trailer release, but there is no hint yet of another upcoming trailer. While Fox seems to stick on doing out of the box promotions for "Logan," the final trailer will be probably released anytime soon as the showing date for the movie gets closer.
Both movies promise to be different than their predecessors. "Justice League" is said to be lighter than the DCEU movies previously released before it, while "Logan" is a more intimate glimpse of Wolverine than previous X-men films.
