The annual Mobile World Congress hosts some of the world's largest communications companies, with many unveiling their latest phones and wearables gadgets.

Nokia 6, the first Nokia-branded Android-based phone built under the HMD Global, will soon be released in silver variant after its latest sighting in Chinese certification site TENAA.

At its initial release, the Nokia 6 smartphone was released in black color option and has gone on sale in China at a price of Rs 17,000. And at a recent report, the China-exclusive smartphone, carrying the model number TA-1000, was spotted at TENAA, which revealed image renders on the device's design.

In the leaked images noted by BGR, the Nokia 6's home button will appear below the display. However, its capacitive menu buttons will not be visible below the display. On the sides, the power button is placed on the left, while the volume rocker on the right side. Moving on to the rear panel, the camera lens is placed vertically with the branding arranged under it.

Specs-wise, the Nokia 6 smartphone launched exclusively for China features a 5.5-inch full-HD display, coupled with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. In its internal chassis, the smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 SoC with 4GB of RAM onboard. Its internal memory can cover 64GB of storage capacity, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone houses a 3000mAh non-removable battery.

In its optics department, the Nokia 6 smartphone packs a 16-megapixel rear camera that includes dual-tone flash and phase detection autofocus. Its front-snapper comes with an 8-megapixel and f/2.0 aperture camera.

In addition, the smartphone's speaker system is equipped with Dolby Atmos technology and dual amplifiers for louder and clearer sound. The Nokia 6 also includes the latest security suite, which is a fingerprint scanner embedded in its home button.

According to NDTV, recent reports suggest that HMD Global might be manufacturing its own text- and voice-based virtual assistant tagged as 'Viki' for its Nokia smartphones. In the reports, HMD Global recently filed for a trademark in the European Union for the name 'Viki', which appears to be a digital assistant from the description.

In time of its release, the Nokia 6 has been priced at 1,699 CNY (roughly Rs. 16,750) and will be made available "in early 2017."
