South Korean boy group Seventeen was recently reported to have secretly extended a total cash donation of 1,000,000 KRW to the victims of the earthquake in Kumamoto, the capital city Kumamoto Prefecture in Kyushu, Japan.

The group’s kindness was discovered at a recent broadcast by KBS which shows the list of the donations at the Sharing Hope Foundation, one of the non-government organizations which facilitates assistance for the victims of the earthquake in Kumamoto. However, according to reports, some fans still have doubts if it was really Seventeen who extended the help as no confirmation was released from the band’s side. If the reports were true, their donations could sum up to US$ 980.
