Edwin Siu and Priscilla Wong are set to bring their real life chemistry to reel life in their upcoming TVB drama. The star couple will be playing the leading roles of the two lovers in the series titled "Behind-the-scenes Player." Read on for more details.

According to Asia E News Portal, the couple and co-stars recently attended the initiation ceremony for "Behind-the-scenes Players" held in TVB City headquarters in Tseung Kwan, Hong Kong.

Here, during the ceremony Siu and Wong opened about sharing silver screen space as people in love. In the interview, Wong revealed that she was surprised to receive an offer to portray the role of "onscreen couple." Meanwhile, Siu disclosed what to expect from the drama when it hits the television screens.

According to the actor, the couple has a turbulent love story wherein they go through a difficult phase in the light of a misunderstanding. "In the drama, our characters go through a very tumultuous relationship, from initially falling in love to subsequently having a huge misunderstanding," Siu said as quoted by Jaynestars.

It is a story of love, emotions, separation and reunion. The 38-year-old Chinese actor goes on to explain that how differences between the couple drifts them apart before reconciling. "One of us then leaves for the United States and eventually returns to Hong Kong to try and win the other person over," the actor disclosed.

Fans can expect to be overwhelmed with emotions as the series contain a scene that is an "absolute romantic classic" with many "beautiful lines," Siu said.

So how far does the couple take their romance in the drama? When asked whether they will feature in a bed scene, Siu said, "Yes, but it's with Louis Cheung." He explains it's a mistake made by Cheung's character. As for the bed scenes with Wong, the actor said that there are very few such scenes with Wong, since her character sleepwalks at night.

As for Wong, she refrained from revealing any further details about the show and said that they are still shooting the initial part of the story where their characters are no more than friends.

Bosco Wong, the actor who is playing the third wheel between Wong and Siu's characters, said that "Behind-the-scenes Players" touch upon negative side of society wherein successful married men indulge in an extra-marital affair.

Wong and Siu have been dating each other since 2014. The couple fell in love after working in a Chinese comedy romance drama "Madam Cutie on Duty." Watch Wong and Siu together in a video from "Madam Cutie on Duty," below.
