In an interview with Grazia Korea magazine, Hyeri revealed what Girl's Day has in mind when asked about a possible comeback.

According to Kpopherald, Girl's Day has been on hiatus after they have released their second full-length album "Love" in 2015. In the midst of their promotions for the album, the members were mired in a controversy for their alleged rude behavior.

In 2016, the four members of Girl's Day went on with their solo activities. The girl group, however, has hinted for a possible comeback several times but has not provided confirmation about the matter.

Hence, Hyeri told Grazia Korea magazine that they felt diffident to make a comeback, admitting that they are anxious to fall short of the expectations.

"Girl's Day has been on hiatus for a long time. We have gone through a period of contemplation, which has delayed our comeback and made all of us feel burdened to meet fans' expectation," Hyeri said.

Despite that, there have been speculations that the girl group is currently preparing for a comeback, Soompi cited. Several music sources claimed Girl's Day is halfway done for their new album which is reported to be released in January 2017.

Previously, Girl's Day's Sojin seemingly hinted on a possible comeback next year when she told her fans through Naver V Live broadcast, "We'll try our best so that in 2017, we'll be able to greet everyone."

Girl's Day debuted in 2010 with five members under DreamT Entertainment. The girl group released their first single "Tilt My Head" that was followed by an EP called "Girl's Day Party #1" after a couple of days.

In the same year, Girl's Day released another EP "Girl's Day Party #2." It was followed by another EP the following year, which was also the time that the girl group kicked off their overseas concert shows.
