In an interview with Cosmopolitan Hong Kong, miss A's Suzy talked about her plans for her acting career and revealed what kind of character she would love to play in the future.

The singer-actress admitted people often see her characters as similar to her personality; hence, Suzy is hopeful she will be given different roles in her upcoming projects.

"I think a bit of the human Suzy melted into the role of No Eul Ee from the recently finished KBS drama "Uncontrollably Fond." People always tell me that the roles I play are similar to myself. I try to find something I can relate to with the characters," the idol said as per Allkpop.

The miss A member added she likes the role of Jennifer Lawrence on "Silver Linings Playbook." Suzy said, "It made me think that I'd want to play a role like that someday. I'm doing my best to read a lot of books from different genres these days."

On the other hand, JYP Entertainment confirmed Suzy will debut as a solo artist in January, Soompi cited. The announcement was made just this month through a teaser video.

"It is true that Suzy has filmed her album jacket and music video and recorded her album. However, the specific schedule for her solo album have not been discussed yet," the agency said.

A source affiliated with the artist revealed Suzy flew to Hong Kong in November to grace a jewelry brand event. Aside from that, the miss A member also had a photoshoot for her upcoming album.

On top of that, the source added Suzy also filmed the music video of her single in the country. "Since it is her first solo album she is throwing her heart and soul into everything including the songs to the clothing," the source revealed.
