S.E.S returns on broadcast with a performance on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’

First generation girl group S.E.S returned onstage with a performance on "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook."

S.E.S is considered the first highly successful girl group in the K-Pop industry. The three-member group debuted with the release of "I'm Your Girl" in 1997. Reports stated the members aimed to be seen as talented entertainers rather than just being looked at as innocent-looking artists.

A year after the release of their first album, S.E.S dropped their second album titled "Sea & Eugene & Shoo." In the same year, the girl group produced a Japanese album called "Meguriau Sekai."

In 2007, the S.E.S members reunited to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The girls also appeared in several TV shows like "Happy Sunday" and "Infinite Challenge."

As part of their comeback, S.E.S released a digital single titled "Love[story]" through SM NATION. An on Saturday, the popular girl group has their first ever broadcast since disbandment.

According to Soompi, S.E.S sang some of their hit songs "I'm Your Girl," "I Love You" and "Love." The first generation girl group also performed a rendition of "Just A Feeling" on "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook."

The girls also shared about their thoughts on their comeback, stating that they were tensed during their first comeback performance. "We felt just as nervous as our first debut performance," the group said.

They went on, "I'm sure you're all surprised by how much our faces may have changed, but I hope that you will all listen to the work we've put in our music."

Bada added "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" was the first show that came into their minds when they decided to make a comeback. On the other hand, Eugene said her performance on the show was her first in 12 years.

When asked about their dream, the S.E.S members said they would like to celebrate their 80th anniversary in the same show.

On the other hand, Eugene took to her Instagram account to post a teaser of their upcoming project, Allkpop cited. The debut project called "REMEMBER" will be released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of S.E.S.

Reports claimed S.E.S will launch a new song on Jan. 1 and will release the title song of their album the following day.
