Netizens are commending f(x)'s Amber for talking straight about how she deals with people who constantly ask her about her sexuality.

In an interview with "Variety Show Employment Agency" on Dec. 12, Amber was asked about her hairstyle and her reaction when people see her as boyish because of her short hair.

"I've been hearing the same question for eight years. Every time I hear it.. [it bores me]," the f(x) member said as per Soompi. When Kim Gura asked her about her response when people get nosy about her gender, Amber frankly said, "I don't care!"

Amber went on, "I don't have an interest in dating either. Every time I go on a broadcast, people ask who my ideal type is. I've had boyfriends in the past but now that I think about it, I don't think I have an interest in dating at all."

After the interview, netizens commended the idol for her being honest about herself, while others were infuriated and pointed out that the questions have been answered by Amber long before.

"Wasn't she asked similar questions on Radio Star once? People need to stop asking. She's mentioned many times that she's comfortable being who she is and has no interest giving in to pressure," a netizen wrote.

On the other hand, many netizens took offense of Kim Gura's questions towards Amber, claiming that the host was being offensive during the interview. "Kim Gura is just a really rude person. There's being honest and there's being tactless. He could take a lesson from Amber, honestly," a commenter said.

Meanwhile, the art director of f(x) talked about how they had to adjust when Sulli left the girl group in 2015. Min Hee Jun revealed it was a struggle when they had to reformat f(x) into a four-member band, Allkpop cited.

"I mulled over what I could do to make the promotions seem fun.  Nowadays, it's like some formula to release teasers before the comeback, but it felt overdone," she said.
