Park So Hyun defends Chanyeol on ‘Video Star'

On the latest installment of MBC variety show “Video Star”, South Korean stars Kim Jin and Chanyeol of the boy group EXO got compared by the hosts. However, it appears that actress Park So Hyun, who happens to be the guest in the program, was not happy about it and defended the latter.

According to a report by All KPop, the MC’s commented that the two stars look alike when their photos were flashed and compared on the screen. Kim, who was also among the guests, had come to agree with their observation.

“No. Absolutely not," disagreed Park, who is known to be a supporter of Chanyeol.

Meanwhile, Chanyeol’s latest collaboration song with singer Punch titled “Stay With Me” has recently earned the second spot in the Instiz music chart earning a total of 21,358 next to Heize’s “Star” which has 37,646. Also included in the list are "The Fool" by Jung Seung Hwan, “TT” by TWICE, "Décalcomanie” by MAMAMOO, "Bermuda Triangle" by Zico featuring DEAN and Crush, and "Flower Way” by Sejeong.

“Stay With Me” is one of the official soundtracks of the latest TV drama series “Goblin”. Starring in the show are “Train to Busan” star Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Yoo In Na, and Yook Sung Jae.

Moreover, Chanyeol’s still cuts from his upcoming mystery drama “Missing Nine” was recently revealed, Soompi reports. In the shots, the artist was seen to be stranded on an island after the plane that he was in had crashed.

In the drama, the EXO member will be portraying the role of the singer named Lee Yeol. Actors Jung Kyung Ho, Choi Tae Joon, Oh Jung Se, and Baek Jin Hee are also among the all-star cast of the drama.
