WINNER uploaded their first photo as a four-member group after Nam Tae Hyun officially left the band last month due to health issues.
On Dec. 9, Kang Seun Yoon took to his Instagram account to share a selca with his WINNER co-members inside a car. The idol captioned the photo, "Little Prince and Children. Jin Woo's solo dance performance was great. Must watch."
Aside from Kang, Lee Seung Hoon also posted a group photo on Instagram hinting that he "had a rare experience," Allkpop cited.
This was the first time the WINNER members updated their fans after Nam leaving the boy group and YG Entertainment.
According to Soompi, YG Entertainment has decided not to renew the contract of Nam to give him time to recover from his health issues. "After lengthy discussions with Nam Tae Hyun it was judged that it would be difficult for him to continue activities through WINNER. His exclusive contract got cancelled on November 18," the label announced.
YG Entertainment said Nam's co-members wanted the idol to prioritize his health, stating that they are unsure how much time Nam would need to recover from his mental health issues.
Following the announcement, Nam wrote a letter to his fans and apologized for the decision. Although he departed from WINNER, Nam vowed to continue his passion for music.
"I was really happy when I received undeserved love as WINNER's Nam Tae Hyun. Although this decision was made after a long discussion, my wish to make good music has not changed and I will meet you through other music and projects," he wrote.
And just like his former co-members, Nam also shared several updated photos of him on Instagram. One of his posts showed his edgy side, while another one displayed his playful side.
However, the former WINNER member deleted the updates and most of his Instagram posts, leaving only one photo on his account.
