As part of their promotional activities, BLACKPINK members will be featured on "Weekly Idol" next week.
According to Allkpop, the Nov. 16 episode of "Weekly Idol" will mark BLACKPINK's variety show debut, alongside other scheduled appearances to promote their two new singles.
To make it more exciting, "Weekly Idol" dropped a teaser of BLACKPINK's guesting on Wednesday, revealing how the rising stars are enjoying an interview with the MCs.
Further reports suggested BLACKPINK members will show-off their talents on "Weekly Idol." The girls will also execute the famous speed dance challenge, where they will be performing their song in a faster speed.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK continues to dominate music charts despite being a rookie in the industry. For the week of Nov. 19, their new songs "Playing With Fire" and "Stay" are sitting at Nos. 1 and 4 in the top 5 World Digital Song Sales chart of Billboard, Soompi reported.
The two new singles are under BLACKPINK's "Square Two" album that was released on Nov. 1. Previously, the girl group also dropped two tracks for their debut, namely, "BOOMBAYAH" and "WHISTLE" under "Square One" album.
The four-member girl group debuted under YG Entertainment on Aug. 8. Reports claimed BLACKPINK started their promotional preparation in 2012, while the official lineup was revealed by the agency a couple of months before they debuted.
BLACKPINK had their first music show performance on "Inkigayo" on Aug. 14. The girl group concluded their promotional activities for "Square One" on Sep. 11 with a win in the music program.
After that, the members started working for their new singles "Playing With Fire" and "Stay." Aside from their appearance on "Weekly Idol," BLACKPINK will be featured on "M! Countdown" on Nov. 10.
