I.O.I has brought the house down after their performance of "Very Very Very" on "Show Champion" last Wednesday.

The eleven-member girl group competed against Davichi, BTS, Bolbbalgan4 and Park Hyo Shin, where I.O.I ended up as the winner of "Show Champion," Soompi reported. The milestone marked their first music show win after being formed by CJ E&M earlier this year.

"We love our fans so much! I think we were able to get first because of our fans. And thank you to our parents, we love you!" Kim Sohye said after the announcement.

On the other hand, I.O.I's Kim Sejeong became emotional as she expressed her gratitude to everyone who has made their first music show win possible. She also promised she and her co-members will do even better as a group.

However, I.O.I's first music show win turned controversial after Pinky reportedly shouted, "I.O.I, let's love! (I.O.I, sa-rang-ha-ja!)," which did not please the EXO-Ls. According to Allkpop, EXO-Ls claimed the chant is known to EXO's."

Further reports stated "EXO, let's love! (EXO, sa-rang-ha-ja!)" has been EXO's chant since they started as a group. Thus, EXO-Ls took to their Twitter accounts to start the hashtag #EXO_letslove.

Others EXO-Ls also expressed the reasons behind their outrage towards Pinky's behavior on "Show Champion." An EXO-L posted, "EXO uses the chant in public performances and on air when they receive awards before they get on stage. This isn't just us."

The fan continued, "Other fandoms have fought because of something like this. Isn't it expected that we will be angry about this? Is it right for a singer to use another group's chant?"

Meanwhile, some netizens thought EXO-Ls need to loosen up on the issue. A commenter said, "Get the patent rights of the phrase then. I'm an EXO-L too, but isn't that a common phrase in SK?"
