Christopher Nolan's new film, 'Dunkirk', has just caused quite a stir in the showbizz industry after the production added Harry Styles to be part of the cast. The One Direction heartthrob is going to play a role of a soldier in the World War II themed film. Alongside with Styles though, is actor Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy.

The plot of the film would center around the miraculous evacuation of the allied soldiers from Belium, Britain, Canada, and France after being surrounded by the German army in the beach of Dunkirk.

With Nolan, known for his outstanding methods in directing films, Harry Styles would have to prove that he can get the job done. Knowing that this film is going to have a lot of emotional scenes because of its exhausting atmosphere, Styles is yet to prove to the film audiences that he can also have the talent for acting.

This would be Styles' debut acting in a full length film. At first, Styles was hesitant to cut his long hair but it seemed that it was necessary that he does. Fans are surprised with the new look as it was a new and fresh image for Styles. Some are even saying that his look is almost as comparable to a young Mick Jagger.

The celeb's hair stylist, Anthony Turner, said to Vogue that they first cut Styles' ponytail and the singer was shocked afterwards. Not only about the issue about his hair, but he is also preparing for his role by training very hard and following a fitness and diet plan, Foods 4 Better Health reported. Trainer Ben Bruno described Styles as "freakishly" strong.

'Dunkirk' has no official release date yet, but is predicted to be shown somewhere in the summer of next year. The trailer can be seen below.
