"Iron Man" will be returning with its fourth installment of the series. Rumors claim that Robert Downey Jr. would be too old to reprise his role, which is why Riri Williams is expected to replace Tony Stark.
Super excited fans of "Iron Man 4" might be disappointed seeing the famous outfit of Iron Man worn by another person other than RDJ, as he had tweeted earlier an image of Riri Williams from the comic book series "Invincible Iron Man." This might happen in the movie series as well.
There are speculations claiming that Marvel executives are not so excited to make a fourth part although the previous one was a hit. Iron Man's last movie will be "Spider-Man: Homecoming," where Iron Man will be the mentor of Spiderman. Reportedly, Iron Man will be killed in this movie paving the way to introduce Riri Williams, a.k.a. Iron Heart.
The Inquisitr noted that Marvel is waiting for Ty Simpkins to grow up and replace Stark. Simpkins is the child actor in "Iron Man 3" that acted as RDH's sidekick, and by 2019, the kid will be old enough to play the role.
In a discussion with USA Today, RDJ said: "In a way, it's Cap 3, but for me, it's like my little 'Iron Man 4' and then, it's back to the thing we all recognize. Everything pulls over to the side of the road when the thunder of an Avengers thing comes through because that's how it is until it changes. If it changes."
Although, RDJ talks about the fourth instalment of "Iron Man" in his interviews there are currently no plans set for "Iron Man 4."
There are also rumors claiming that RDJ is asking for a pay hike for the next movie. However, there is nothing in official from Marvel Cinematic Universe. Stay tuned for more updates.
