Maria Ozawa has already met her Filipina doppelganger over the weekend. The 29-year-old Japanese actress expressed that she was very happy to see actress Angelica Panganiban during the world premiere night of her film "Nilalang" on Monday.

The former adult film star shared that she appeared on Angelica's weekend show. "The other day we had a show called 'Banana Split'. And then she was there," Maria spoke of the "That Thing Called Tadhana" actress on Sunday in an interview together with the veteran action star Cesar Montano.

"It was my first time in ten years that I saw her. She's like my doppelganger. She's so sweet. I love her," Maria stated to Inquirer. "She was like 'Oh my God you're my double...you are my double in life'."

Moreover, the adult film idol said that she is open to doing a film with the "One More Try" actress. Maria even said that she wants Angelica to be her sister in the film and revealed that the two are actually in the talks of doing something together.

Maria divulged that she felt relieved when her film "Nilalang" was already finished. ABS-CBN News shared that the film, which is directed by Pedring Lopez, is one of the entries in the forthcoming 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival. It will run starting December 25.

To recall, Maria was disappointed when Robin Padilla backed out of the movie after his wife actress-host Mariel Rodriguez lost a triplet pregnancy. Supposedly, he was the former's leading man in the film. Cesar then replaced the "Asian Treasures" star.

"It was like shocking at first and now it's all good and I'm just blessed for everything," Maria stated during an interview. The actress also added that she will be joining the MMFF Parade of the Stars, which is going to be her first.

When asked where she is going to spend her Christmas and New Year, Maria said that she will spend it in the Philippines. "For now I am going back and forth from Philippines to Japan. But I am also thinking of staying here for good," she added.

Meanwhile, World Rich People shared that Maria has a net worth of $2 million. Prior to starring in "Nilalang," the actress has also made appearances in several other Asian films which include "Invitation Only," "Menculik Miyabi" and "Hantu Tanah Kusir."
