‘American Horror Story’ Season 6 updates & spoilers: Lady Gaga, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare and some familiar faces will return in September

Some familiar faces are confirmed to make a comeback in "American Horror Story" Season 6 which is slated to premiere on Sept. 14. Despite confirming the comeback of a couple of cast members, Creator Ryan Murphy refused to reveal the theme of the new installment.

According to Deadline, Evan Peters, Denis O'Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Jordan and "Perfect Illusion" singer Lady Gaga are returning for "American Horror Story" Season 6; however, their respective roles for the new installment are still a mystery.

As the new installment is nearing its premiere date, fans are still oblivious on the theme of "American Horror Story" Season 6. Although there was no confirmation, reports suggest the upcoming season will revolve around the theme "The Mist," while other fans came up with a number of theories on the FX series.

Some fans said "American Horror Story" Season 6 will be different from the previous seasons as the new one won't have a theme at all, while some expect Scissorman to make an appearance for the new installment, TV Guide reported.

There were also suggestions that the notorious Bender family will be featured in "American Horror Story" Season 6. On the other hand, fans also suggested Murphy will include his one of a kind version of Tooth Fairy in the new installment of the FX series.

Even with these theories, the much-awaited "American Horror Story" Season 6 remains to be unknown until it returns on the small screens. Aside from that, FX reportedly revealed it has released fake teasers of the new installment to confuse the fans.
