It was in 2013 since "Iron Man 3" film became a blockbuster in cinemas and it's about time that the movie is followed by another hit.  There are many speculations if "Iron Man 4" will pursue since the movie and the Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., has some issues that need to be considered.

Every now and then, reports and rumors emerge online giving news and updates about "Iron Man 4's" release date, story and the characters involved; however, this time, it's a different story why the much-anticipated movie is not yet confirmed.

Based on rumors gathered by Vine Report, Downey refused to reprise his role as Iron Man because he and Marvel Studios could not agree in terms of his payment. It is known that the 51-year-old actor is the highest-paid among other actors for three successive years, starting 2012 to 2015.

With the failure to come to an agreement regarding Downey's payment, fans can expect an "Iron Man 4" movie; however, there will be no more Iron Man. The reason? It could be the end of the Iron Man heroic deeds in the forthcoming Spiderman movie, according to Movie Pilot.

Aside from the disagreement from both parties regarding Downey's payment, he is not getting any younger to play the role. But despite the rumors, Downey made it clear that he is enticed to do another "Iron Man" movie and is in discussion with Marvel Studios.

Meanwhile, a newcomer will make her debut just in case Downey will no longer reprise his role in the "Iron Man 4" film. Reports say that a new character will replace him and the iconic "Iron Man" will become a female called "Iron Heart." Riri Williams is the person behind "Iron Heart" who created her own armor suit of Iron Man.

As of the moment, no known agreement has been finalized if Downey will still appear in "Iron Man 4". Downey will still be seen in his armor in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" where he becomes Peter Parker's guru.
